Meadowbrook, California (April 28, 2021) – A man who died after being struck by a car in Meadowbrook, Riverside County, on Tuesday evening has been identified.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 4 p.m. April 27, on Highway 74 near Ethanac Road.
26-year-old man Nieto Ruiz, of Fallbrook, was driving his sedan eastbound on the highway when he collided with a van and another car.
Ruiz was pronounced dead at the scene by the Riverside County Fire Department crews who responded to the crash.

Two occupants of the other vehicles sustained unspecified injuries in the accident. It is unclear if the two were hospitalized.
