Los Angeles, California (April 28, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a two-vehicle crash that happened in downtown Los Angeles Tuesday morning.

The CHP responded to the crash site at approximately 1:40 a.m., on April 27, along the 110 Freeway at 6th Street.

The accident involved at least two automobiles that crashed on the highway under unclear circumstances.

Due to the impact, one of the cars acquired major rear-end damage while the other had major front damage.

One unidentified person was pinned inside the wreckage and had to be rescued by Los Angeles firefighters.

The victim sustained unspecified injuries in the accident.

Meanwhile, authorities requested tow trucks to remove the two vehicles away from the scene.

The accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
