Diego Morales Killed, 5 Others Injured in Fairfield Car Accident on Highway 12 at Beck Avenue
Fairfield, California (April 25, 2021) – 24-year-old Diego Morales, of Vallejo, has been identified as the driver who died following a six-vehicle crash in Fairfield Thursday evening, according to a report by the Solano County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office.
The deadly car crash took place shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Highway 12 at Beck Avenue.
The accident happened when a Dodge 2500 pickup operated by 35-year-old Michael Solis west on Highway 12 failed to stop on traffic at Beck Avenue for unknown reasons.
Solis, a Vallejo resident, then rear-ended a Chevrolet Camaro driven by Morales on April 22. In the process, the Camaro hit two other vehicles while the Dodge pickup also struck two other automobiles after.

Diego Morales, who was the sole occupant of the Camaro, died in the accident.
The other five motorists, including Michael Solis, sustained minor injuries following the wreck. Two of the victims were rushed to area hospitals for treatment.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, intoxication was not believed to have played a role in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
