Marvin Beamon Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Lenwood Road near Camino Del Sol in Barstow
Barstow, California (April 23, 2021) – The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Barstow on Wednesday morning.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened at about 7:13 a.m. April 21, on Lenwood Road near Camino Del Sol.
36-year-old Marvin Lane Beamon III was walking in the area when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.
A passing motorist stopped at the scene and performed life-saving measures on the pedestrian.
Sadly, Beamon succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
The motorist who hit the pedestrian fled the scene and was yet to be located.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
