Female Bicyclist Killed in Oxnard Accident on Gonzales Road
Oxnard, California (April 18, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Monday night traffic accident that killed a female bicyclist in Oxnard.
The deadly accident occurred at about 11:54 p.m., on April 12, in the 3800 block of W Gonzales Road.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the female cyclist was struck by a vehicle on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
Sadly, the bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the vehicle was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
