San Diego, California (April 17, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a train late Thursday night in the Old Town neighborhood of San Diego, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident occurred at around 10:10 p.m. Thursday, April 15 near the Old Town Transit Center, which is located on Taylor Street, just north of Interstate 5.
Authorities said the pedestrian was hit by a northbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe train that was crossing the Taylor Street grade crossing.
