El Centro, CA: Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Traffic Crash on Highway 111 and Interstate 8

El Centro, California (April 16, 2021) – A motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital after a traffic crash that happened Thursday evening in El Centro, according to the California Highway  Patrol.

The rider crashed at around 6:28 p.m. at the curve on northbound Highway 111 to westbound Interstate 8 connector.

Reportedly, the rider was on a black Honda motorcycle when they lost control at the curve and went down.

The motorcyclist sustained head trauma and was airlifted by Reach to the hospital.

CHP is investigating the accident.
