Philo, CA: Multiple Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 128 at Clark Road

Philo, California (April 14, 2021) – Multiple people were injured, and one of them was hospitalized with serious injuries after two vehicles collided Wednesday afternoon in Philo, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at about 3:29 p.m. on Highway 128 at Clark Road.

The vehicles were identified as a Honda Ridgeline and a BMW X5 and were blocking the roadway after the crash.

Firefighters responded to the scene to find six people injured in the accident. One of the victims was airlifted to the hospital by Reach with major injuries.

There was no information given about the extent of injuries sustained by the other patients or their conditions.

Both vehicles acquired major front-end damage and were towed away from the collision scene.

CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
