Olympic Valley, California (April 13, 2021) – One person died in a motorcycle accident that happened Tuesday afternoon in Olympic Valley, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident happened at about 2:25 p.m. on Lanny Lane, just east of Russell Road.

The accident involved a black SUV and a motorcycle.

Cal Fire responded to the scene to find the motorcyclist down in the roadway.

The firefighters started performing CPR on the rider, but, unfortunately, the victim did not survive their injuries and died following the crash.

There were no other details available.

CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
