Maria Carrango and Esther Espinoza Die after Vehicle Crashed into Old Salinas River
Moss Landing, California (April 12, 2021) – The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office has disclosed the identities of two Salinas women who were killed in a car crash in Moss Landing on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 2:50 p.m. April 10, along Dolan Road.
Maria Vanessa Carrango, 35, was driving a car on the roadway when she veered off the roadway and plunged into Old Salinas River.
Carrango and her passenger, 28-year-old Esther Monique Espinoza, were killed in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
