Cutler, California (April 11, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision Saturday afternoon in Cutler, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred at about 5:03 p.m. at the intersection of Road 128 and Avenue 392.
The report said three vehicles were involved in the crash that occurred under unclear circumstances.
The vehicles were completely blocking the roadway after the collision.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and confirmed that major injuries were sustained in the accident. Ayala Vanessa, and a passenger only identified as Garcia, were taken to Adventist Health Medical Center for treatment. The report did not specify the injuries that each person suffered.
The report also said the intoxication played a role in the crash but did not give more details.
All vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
CHP is investigating the incident.
