Palmdale, California (April 6, 2021) – A 9-year-old boy was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Monday night in Palmdale.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 10:50 p.m. on the northbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway near Avenue N.
A 2008 Kia Spectra was traveling on the roadway when the driver lost control and crashed into a center divider.
Boy Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash on 14 Freeway in Palmdale
A 19-year-old California City boy in the car was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver, who has since been identified by 56-year-old Gary Foster of Los Angeles, was hospitalized with minor injuries.
A 28-year-old woman in the car was also transported to the hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
A 1-year-old boy and a 1-month-old boy riding in the car were also hospitalized with moderate injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
