Placer County, California (March 26, 2021) – Minor injuries were reported after two vehicles collided on a highway in Placer County Thursday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
Officials said the head-on collision happened on Highway 89 at West River Street just around 10:25 a.m.
On March 25, the CHP received a crash report involving a blue sedan and a light-colored pickup truck in the morning hours.
Minor Injury Placer County Car Accident
All involved parties, who possibly sustained minor injuries, were attended to by medical personnel.
Police requested a tow truck to remove at least one of the automobiles away from the scene.
The wreck resulted in the closure of the roadway up to approximately 11:09 a.m.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
