Pedestrian Suffers Serious Injuries in Emeryville Accident on Interstate 80 at Powell Street

Emeryville, California (March 25, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a major injury crash that took place on an interstate in Emeryville Wednesday evening.
The pedestrian accident was reported shortly before 8:35 p.m. on Interstate 80 (East Shore Freeway) near Powell Street offramp.
A person was hit by a dark gray Honda Accord while walking in the westbound side of the freeway under unclear circumstances.
Meanwhile, good Samaritans offered first aid treatment to the victim who was lying in the interstate.
Major Injury Emeryville Accident
The unidentified pedestrian sustained major injuries following the March 24 crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
