1 Hospitalized after Elk Grove Crash on Highway 99 at Sheldon Road Off-Ramp
Elk Grove, California (March 22, 2021) – One person was hospitalized Sunday morning after being injured in a traffic crash on Highway 99 in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At around 11:14 a.m., authorities received reports of a two-vehicle collision in the southbound lanes of the highway at the Sheldon Road off-ramp.
The accident involved a gray Nissan pickup truck and another unknown vehicle.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center with minor injuries.
The cause of the collision was not mentioned, but authorities are investigating.
