Kettleman City, California (March 20, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol said two people were killed in a single-car crash that happened Friday morning in Kettleman City.
The incident happened at about 6:51 a.m. on southbound Interstate 5, just south of Utica Avenue off-ramp.
Reportedly, an unknown vehicle, possibly headed northbound, hit the center divider and landed on the southbound side.
First responders found the vehicle with missing tires.
Two people, only identified as a male and a female, were killed in the crash. Kings County Coroner responded to the scene following the fatalities.
There were no other details available.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
