Man Killed in Sun Valley Pedestrian Accident on Lankershim Boulevard and Stagg Street
Sun Valley, California (March 19, 2021) – A man was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Wednesday night in the Sun Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at about 7:00 p.m., on March 17, at the intersection of Lankershim Boulevard and Stagg Street.
According to the police, the pedestrian was walking with a crosswalk at the intersection when a vehicle struck him in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, the male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police. The hit-and-run vehicle was described as a silver or white 2010-2012 BMW sedan and is believed to have significant damage to its front end.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
