56-Year-Old Woman Killed in Yucca Valley Motorcycle Crash on Highway 62 at Yucca Park Road
Yucca Valley, California (March 15, 2021) – A 56-year-old woman was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday night in Yucca Valley, authorities said.
The tragic crash happened at around 8:22 p.m. Sunday, March 14, on the eastbound side of Highway 62 at Yucca Park Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was riding her Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Trike eastbound on Highway 62 when, for unknown reasons, she rear-ended a green Mitsubishi Montero driven by Galo Zurita, 41, of Yucca Valley.
Following the collision, the woman was thrown off the bike upon the impact.

The 56-year-old woman was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries at 9:18 p.m.
Zurita and her passengers, a man and a 5-year-old girl, were not injured.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
