Jonathan Montes Killed in Motorcycle Accident at Lerdo Highway and Vultee Street in Shafter
Shafter, California (March 13, 2021) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened in Shafter on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
The fatal motorcycle crash happened at East Lerdo Highway and Vultee Street at about 3:37 p.m. March 9.
21-year-old Jonathan Isaiah Rosales Montes was riding a motorcycle in the area when he crashed into a truck.
Montes, a resident of Shafter, was killed in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
