Irwindale, California (March 11, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a highway in Irwindale Wednesday morning, according to a local news source.
Shortly after 4:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, authorities received a report about the accident on Arrow Highway, just west of 4th Street.
According to the authorities, a man was crossing Arrow Highway when a sport-utility vehicle hit him.
The man died in the accident. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Arrowhead Highway between Irwindale and Azusa Canyon Road was closed for nearly three hours during the investigation.
