Minor Injuries Sustained in Sacramento Crash on Highway 99 near Florin Road Off-Ramp
Sacramento, California (March 9, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a multi-car accident that happened Monday afternoon in Sacramento, resulting in minor injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported at about 3:19 p.m. on northbound Highway 99, just south of Florin Road off-ramp.
Four vehicles, including a Dodge Challenger, collided under unclear circumstances.
One person involved in the crash was seen lying on the ground, possibly injured.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to find at least one person with minor injuries. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
Tow trucks were needed to clear the collision scene.
CHP is investigating the incident.
