Long Beach, California (February 27, 2021) –Authorities have released the name of the motorcyclist who died after being struck by a vehicle in Long Beach Monday evening.

The February 22 collision occurred on Long Beach and Del Amo Boulevards at about 7 p.m.

The accident happened when a 1997 Chevy S10 truck driven by a 29-year-old Long Beach man eastbound on Del Amo Boulevard  made a left turn into a parking lot at the night hours.

The Chevy then struck 22-year-old Evan William Davis while riding his motorcycle westbound on Del Amo Boulevard.

Evan Davis Fatal Long Beach Accident 

Davis died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.

The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to determine the cause of the accident.
