At Least 1 Injured in Sacramento Accident at Palmer House Drive and Gerber Road
Sacramento, California (February 26, 2021) – At least one person was hurt in a two-car accident that happened Thursday morning at an intersection in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported at around 10:53 a.m. at Palmer House Drive and Gerber Road.
CHP said a maroon Dodge Charger and a dark-green minivan collided for unknown reasons, blocking the intersection.
A driver of one of the cars was seen out of their car limping.
Sacramento firefighters responded to the scene and blocked both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Palmer House Drive.
At least one person suffered minor injuries, as per the report. The victim was treated at the scene, but it remained unclear if they were hospitalized.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
