Tustin, California (February 23, 2021) – A woman was killed in a high-speed crash that happened in Tustin on Tuesday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 2:30 a.m. on Highway 55.
A 2008 BMW was traveling southbound on Highway 55 at a high rate of speed when it crashed into a southbound 2012 Lexus RX35 driven by an unidentified woman.
The impact of the collision caused the Lexus to overturn, killing its female passenger.
The Lexus driver suffered moderate injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The BMW driver, identified only as Anthony Robles, was hospitalized with minor injuries.
