1 Person Killed in Santa Clarita Crash on Antelope Valley Freeway at Sand Canyon Road
Santa Clarita, California (February 21, 2021) – One person was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Sunday morning in Santa Clarita, authorities said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 2:23 a.m. on Antelope Valley (14) Freeway at Sand Canyon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle collided on the southbound freeway for undetermined reasons.
As a result of the collision, approximately 200 feet of guardrail was completely taken out at the southbound Sand Canyon off-ramp, the CHP said.
One Killed in Antelope Valley Freeway Crash
One person sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
