Minor Injuries Sustained in Santa Rosa Crash on Calistoga Road near Saint Helena Road

Santa Rosa, California (February 20, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury car accident that happened early Saturday morning in Santa Rosa.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash occurred at about 2:49 a.m. on Calistoga Road, just north of Saint Helena Road.
A Jeep Cherokee and a Dodge car collided head-on for unknown reasons, the report said.
The vehicles were partially blocking the roadway after the impact.
Paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that minor injuries were sustained in the crash. The paramedics, however, did not mention the number of victims.
The report also added that a dog in the Cherokee sustained a broken leg.
The report did not give more details.
CHP is collecting more information to establish the cause of the crash.
