Livermore, CA: Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Traffic Accident on Vineyard Avenue
Rider Injured in Livermore Motorcycle Crash on Vineyard Avenue near East Vineyard Wednesday afternoon

Livermore, California (February 19, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a traffic accident in Livermore Wednesday afternoon, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, on Vineyard Avenue near East Vineyard.
Authorities said a car, driven by a 26-year-old Fremont resident, turned left into the Chevron gas station directly into the path of a 20-year-old motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist eventually slammed into the front of the car. The force of the impact caused the rider to thrown off his bike.

The motorcyclist sustained head and leg injuries and was transported to Eden Trauma Center. His name and current condition were not disclosed.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Alcohol, drugs, or speed were not considered a factor in the collision.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
