Woman Injured in Sepulveda Basin Crash on Southbound 405 Freeway Sunday afternoon
Sepulveda Basin, California (February 14, 2021) – A woman was injured Sunday afternoon in a traffic accident in the Sepulveda Basin neighborhood in Los Angeles, according to a report by the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The crash was reported at around 2:28 p.m. on the southbound side of 405 Freeway, authorities said.
As per the report, two vehicles collided in the southbound lane of the freeway.
As a result of the collision, one of the involved vehicles drifted off the roadway and crashed about 10 feet down an embankment.
Car Accident on 405 Freeway in Sepulveda Basin
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated a 30-year-old woman who was trapped in the vehicle that veered off the freeway.
Authorities said the woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. Her name and current condition remained undisclosed.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
The accident remains under investigation.
