Injuries Reported in Fort Tejon Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Fort Tejon Road
Fort Tejon, California (February 14, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a car accident that happened in Fort Tejon on Saturday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the northbound lanes on Interstate 5 Freeway near Fort Tejon Road shortly before 5 p.m. February 13.
A gray Mercedes SUV and a semi-truck were involved in the accident. Although the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established, the impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to flip onto its roof.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
