Minor Injuries Sustained in Sacramento Accident on Highway 50 near Howe Avenue Of-Ramp
Sacramento, California (February 13, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle accident that happened Friday afternoon in Sacramento, resulting in minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident happened just after 4:00 p.m. on westbound Highway 50, just east of Howe Avenue off-ramp.
A gray Chevrolet Silverado, a blue Nissan Frontier pickup truck, and a third vehicle collided for unknown reasons.
The Frontier was blocking the No. 1 lane, the Silverado was facing the wrong way in the slow lane, and the third vehicle ended up in the center divide after the impact.
Paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that minor injuries were sustained in the crash. Details about the number of victims and whether they were hospitalized or not remained unknown.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
