Kristi Waller-Ewing ID’d as Woman Killed in Santa Cruz Pedestrian Accident at River and Water Streets
Santa Cruz, California (February 11, 2021) – The Santa Cruz County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman who died after being struck by a semi-truck Wednesday afternoon in Santa Cruz as Kristi Waller-Ewing, 60, of Santa Cruz.
The deadly accident happened at about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, at the intersection of River and Water streets.
Authorities said Waller-Ewing was hit by the semi-truck at the Santa Cruz intersection.

Waller-Ewing died at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck stopped at the scene and was cooperative, authorities said.
