CHP Officer and 3 People Injured in Los Angeles Car Crash on 10 Freeway at Normandie Avenue
Los Angeles, California (February 11, 2021) – A California Highway Patrol officer and three other people were injured in a car accident that happened in the Adams-Normandie area of Central Los Angeles on Thursday morning.
The collision happed on the westbound 10 Freeway at Normandie Avenue at about 10:43 a.m.
A motorcycle and at least two other vehicles were involved in the accident. The circumstances of the crash were not immediately established.
A CHP officer and three people were seriously injured in the crash.
A driver reportedly tried to flee the scene and was detained by the officers.
The westbound 10 Freeway and the southbound 110 Freeway to the westbound 10 Freeway connector road were temporarily closed as the officers examined the scene.
