Kai Moua Killed in Car Accident at Jensen Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard in Fresno

Fresno, California (February 10, 2021) –Kai Moua, 20, of Fresno, has been identified as one of the two people who were killed early Wednesday morning in a traffic accident in Fresno.
The crash took place at around 5:45 a.m. at the intersection of Jensen Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Police said Moua was driving a Honda eastbound on Jensen Avenue towards Martin Luther King Boulevard when he struck a bicyclist who was heading eastbound on Jensen Avenue.
The rider was ejected from the bike upon the impact.
The Honda then collided with a Toyota that was turning east onto Jensen Avenue from northbound Martin Luther King Boulevard. The impact caused the Honda to spin and hit a utility pole.
After the crash, the Toyota and the bicycle came to stop in a field at the southeast corner of the intersection.
Moua and the bicyclist were killed in the crash. The driver of the Toyota was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
It is undermined if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
Jensen Avenue was blocked at Martin Luther King Avenue while the investigation took place.
