Injuries Reported in Hayward Car Crash on 880 Freeway near Washington Avenue
Hayward, California (February 10, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a traffic collision that happened in Hayward on Tuesday evening, leaving at least one person injured.
The collision happened shortly before 8 p.m. February 9, on Interstate 880 Freeway near Washington Avenue, according to a CHP report.
The authorities who responded to the incident located four vehicles at the scene of the accident. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
A female driver of one of the vehicles was stuck inside the car and had to be extricated by the firefighters who arrived at the scene.
One person was transported to an area hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
