Christopher Ramirez Killed in Rancho Cordova Hit-And-Run Collision on Folsom Boulevard, Jesus Valencia Arrested

Rancho Cordova, California (February 9, 2021) – 29-year-old Christopher Ceja Ramirez has been identified as the male victim who died following a suspected hit-and-run collision on January 29 in Rancho Cordova, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department reported.
The deadly crash happened in the 10,000 block of Folsom Boulevard, near the Mather Field Road, just after 9 a.m.
As per the report, two people were hit by a vehicle at a business parking under unclear circumstances.
Meanwhile, the involved driver escaped the scene following the collision.
Christopher Ramirez Killed in Rancho Cordova Crash
Ramirez, who was one of the victims, died in the accident while the second party was hospitalized with minor injuries.
On January 31, Jesus Santiago Alvarez Valencia, 25, of North Highlands, was arrested in connection with the accident. He was charged with homicide and attempted homicide.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
