Grisey Castro Injured in San Ardo Car Crash on Highway 101 near Alvarado Road
San Ardo, California (February 9, 2021) – Grisey Castro was injured after being involved in a deadly crash last week Tuesday in San Ardo.
The accident happened at about 7:13 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, on Highway 101 near Alvarado Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A 2009 Lincoln, driven by Balthazar Donato, 27, of Greenfield, was traveling on the wrong lane of Highway 101 when it collided with another vehicle, driven by Sabrina Lecce, 23, of Shandon, according to the CHP.
Fatal Highway 101 Crash in San Ardo
Lecce died in the crash while her passenger sustained minor injuries.
Donato, who sustained moderate injuries, was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and DUI causing injury.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
