Man Injured in Palm Springs Car Crash on Palm Canyon Drive near Baristo Road
Palms Springs, California (February 8, 2021) – A driver was injured after crashing into a palm tree on Palm Canyon Road in Palm Springs early Monday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident on Palm Canyon Drive near the Lulu California Bistro at about 2 a.m.
The police said a man in a pickup truck was traveling the wrong-way when he crashed into a concrete barrier and a palm tree.
The driver was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
No other cars or people were involved in the collision.
Palm Canyon Drive between Arenas Road and Baristo Road was temporarily closed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
