Alexis Alfarue ID’d as 24-Year-Old Woman Killed in Whitewater Crash on Interstate 10 near Highway 62

Whitewater, California (February 2, 2021) – Alexis Alfarue, 24, of Beaumont, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a Monday morning rollover accident in Whitewater, the CHP said.
The deadly single-vehicle accident happened at about 12:30 a.m. on Interstate 10, just west of Highway 62.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Alfarue was driving westbound in a Jeep Wrangler when she lost control, veered into the shoulder area, and struck a pole.
As a result of the collision, Alfarue, who was not wearing her seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle onto the roadway, the officials said.

Alfarue sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Intoxication was suspected of having played a role in the mishap.
The crash remains under investigation.
