54-Year-Old Man Killed in Livermore Crash on Interstate 580 near Highway 84 Exit
Livermore, California (January 28, 2021) – A 54-year-old man was killed in a Thursday afternoon traffic accident in Livermore, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 2:20 p.m. on Interstate 580 at Highway 84 exit.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2001 Pontiac, driven by the man, was traveling westbound on Interstate 580 when it lost control, went off the roadway, drove through a chain-link fence, and crashed into a tree.
Following the collision, the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected onto the roadway, the officials said.

Sadly, the man sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
