La Mesa, CA: Motorcycle versus Truck Crash on Highway 94 at Massachusetts Avenue
Minor Injuries Sustained in La Mesa Motorcycle Crash on Highway 94 at Massachusetts Avenue
La Mesa, California (January 27, 2021) – Authorities are investigating after a motorcycle collided with a truck Wednesday evening in La Mesa.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident occurred just before 6:00 p.m. on eastbound Highway 94 at Massachusetts Avenue.
The driver of a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck called authorities saying a motorcycle rider hit the center divider, and the motorcycle bounced into traffic lanes where the pickup truck hit it.
The rider was up and walking in the center divide. It was unclear if the motorcyclist was also hit by the pickup truck.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and confirmed that minor injuries were sustained in the accident.
CHP is investigating to determine what transpired, leading to the crash.
