Daniel Garcia ID’d as 1 of 2 Persons Injured in Taft Crash on Jamison Lane at General Petroleum Avenue

Taft, California (January 27, 2021) – Daniel Hernandez Garcia, 26, of Taft, has been identified as one of the two persons who were injured in an alleged DUI crash last week in Taft, authorities said.
The major injury accident happened on Thursday, January 21, at the intersection of Jamison Lane and General Petroleum Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2015 Honda Accord, driven by Fabian Garcia, 30, also from Taft, lost control as it entered General Petroleum Avenue from Jamison Lane and crashed into two parked cars.

Fabian Garcia and his passenger, Daniel Garcia, were injured in the accident. Daniel Garcia was flown to Kern Medical with major injuries.
Fabian Garcia was placed under arrest at Kern Medical by CHP officers and later booked into the Kern County Jail, where he is being held on $20,000 bail.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
