Healdsburg, California (January 25, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Monday morning traffic accident that left two people injured, one critically in Healdsburg.

The major injury single-vehicle accident occurred on Highway 101, south of Dry Creek Road, at about 12:17 a.m.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford Focus operated by a 19-year-old Santa Rosa resident was headed southbound on the highway when, for unknown reasons, it veered off the roadway, went down a dirt embankment, and struck a tree.

2 Injured in Highway 101 Crash

The driver and a passenger, a 20-year-old Mendocino County man, were injured in the accident and were taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Further details regarding the collision were not immediately available.
