Major Injuries Sustained in Ventura Multi-Car Crash on Highway 101 near Victoria Avenue
Ventura, California (January 8, 2021) – Major injuries were sustained when multiple vehicles collided Friday morning on a highway in Ventura, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said the crash happened at about 8:48 a.m. on northbound Highway 101, just south of Victoria Avenue.
The report said people were running around in traffic lanes after the crash.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to help an unknown number of parties who suffered severe injuries.
All northbound lanes remained blocked for an unknown period following the accident.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
