Hesperia Collision at Fir Street and Opal Avenue Left One Person Dead
Hesperia, California (January 7, 2021) – A traffic collision involving a single vehicle at an intersection in Hesperia on January 1 left one person dead.
The fatal collision took place in the area of Fir Street and Opal Avenue at about 4:38 p.m.
The accident happened when an off-road vehicle driven by a 20-year-old man northbound on Opal Avenue veered off the highway before crashing into a dirt berm in the afternoon hours.
Due to the impact, the vehicle rolled over multiple times.
Passenger Dies After Car Crash in Hesperia
A 23-year-old passenger riding in the vehicle died in the accident.
The involved motorist sustained major injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for further medication.
An investigation into the deadly accident is underway.
