1 Injured in Truck Accident on 10 Freeway near Kellogg Drive in Pomona
Pomona, California (December 31, 2020) – A driver was injured after a big rig crashed and rolled down an embankment along a freeway in Pomona on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 4:10 a.m. on Interstate 10 Freeway near Kellogg Drive.
The authorities who responded to the incident found a semi and its trailer down the freeway with its load of unknown products strewn across a road below the freeway.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The collision resulted in the temporary closure of the Kellogg Drive offramp.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
