Minor Injuries Sustained in San Lorenzo Car Crash on Hesperian Boulevard at 880 Freeway
San Lorenzo, California (December 31, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury accident that happened Wednesday evening in San Lorenzo.
According to the California Highway Patrol, an Isuzu box truck collided with another vehicle at about 6:51 p.m. on southbound Hesperian Boulevard just under 880 Freeway.
The vehicles collided for unknown reasons, leaving the box truck overturned onto its side.
All southbound lanes of Hesperian Boulevard were blocked as emergency crews worked to extricate the driver of one of the vehicles who was trapped inside.
Authorities said the accident resulted in minor injuries. An ambulance was requested to the scene to help the victims.
Debris and fuel were littered in the streets and required cleaning.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
