2 Juveniles, 3 Adults Injured in Indio Car Crash at Avenue 40 and Monroe Street
Indio, California (December 30, 2020) – Five people were injured Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Indio, according to a local news source.
At around 9:50 a.m., the authorities received a report about the accident at the intersection of Avenue 40 and Monroe Street.
As per the report, a vehicle crashed for unknown reasons at the Indio intersection and overturned. Two occupants of the vehicle were ejected as a result of the crash.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical to a total of five people who were injured in the accident. Authorities said two children and one adult suffered major injuries while two other occupants sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Two of the five patients were airlifted to a local hospital for treatment. The names and conditions of the injured parties were not immediately disclosed.
Police closed the intersection of Avenue 40 and Monroe Street as the investigation and cleanup took place.
The crash remains under investigation.
