Santa Ana, California (December 29, 2020) – A pedestrian in a wheelchair was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday morning at an intersection in Santa Ana, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident was reported shortly before 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Euclid Street and Second Street.
Authorities said the pedestrian was crossing the street in a wheelchair when they were hit by a vehicle that was heading northbound on Euclid Street towards Second Street.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Santa Ana
The pedestrian, whose name has not been disclosed pending notification of family, died as a result of the accident.
The driver of the involved vehicle stopped at the scene and was cooperative, authorities said.
