Sacramento Woman Killed in Car Accident 80 Freeway near Travis Boulevard
Fairfield, California (December 28, 2020) – A woman was killed in a car crash in Fairfield on Friday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash happened on Interstate Highway 80 near the Travis Boulevard on-ramp at about 11:30 a.m. December 25.
A 62-year-old Sacramento woman was driving a black Honda Civic eastbound on the freeway when she lost control and crashed into the center divider. A short time later, a Lexus crashed into the Honda Civic.
Three people were injured in the accident and were transported to NorthBay Medical Center for treatment.
Sadly, the woman died while undergoing treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
