Long Beach, CA: 68-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Long Beach Boulevard near Anaheim Street

Long Beach, California (December 24, 2020) – A suspected hit-and-run Pedestrian accident that took place in Long Beach early Tuesday morning left a 68-year-old man dead.

Long Beach police responded to the fatal crash site at about 2:25 a.m., December 15, in the 1200 block of Long Beach Boulevard near Anaheim Street.

The accident happened when a 2012 Nissan Altima, heading southbound on Long Beach Boulevard, lost control for unknown reasons

The Altima then hit the male party before striking a tree and a parked automobile.

Meanwhile, the Nissan operator abandoned the car and fled the crash site on foot.

Fatal Early Tuesday Morning Long Beach Pedestrian Crash

The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital where he later died on Wednesday
